Hello and welcome to the Prescott
Alternative Learning Center (ALC). We are a program with two goals |
1. Our first goal is to aid and assist in the
graduation
of at risk high school students. These students are credit
deficient and would not graduate on time, so we help the
young adults that come to us get their high school diploma. 2. The second goal of ours is to aid the adults in our community in aquiring General Educational Development (GED)

Getting Close to the End of the Year
We are now in the fourth quarter and the seniors only have about 30 days to go!!! Several of them will be working hard to try and get finished so that they can walk at graduation. If you run across one of the alternative school seniors, remind them how important it is for them to graduate from high school. Graduation date is May 28, 2011.

January News
Hello Everyone,
We are now back in school after the winter break. The seniors are currently working on their classes and plan to take their next test in the beginning of February. It looks like we will be adding a couple of juniors to the program at the end of the semester and there are a couple of seniors moving from other districts that may also be attending the alternative high school.
